Research is complicated by the existence of unrelated men named Harry Schmoll. One Harry Robert “Bobby” Schmoll Jr., born in 1936 and deceased in 2020, had a long career in Los Angeles education.11 Other records concern a New Jersey lawyer or judge and an Iowa veteran. Those individuals should not be merged with the parachutist.
This is particularly important when investigating the sparsely documented decades after 1965.
